Our 20^th festival will pamper the visitor with a diverse and high standard summer programme. The concerts at 22.00 on Thursdays at the medieval grey stone Espoo Cathedral will provide an atmospheric setting for both recitals and major works. Visitors can expect to see and hear star performers, talented young artists and international guests, among others operasingers Matti Salminen, Jaakko Ryhänen, Dilbèr and Nicolai Gedda, organists Rolf Henry Kunz and Kalevi Kiviniemi, and violinist brothers Pekka and Jaakko Kuusisto.

This exhibition explores the mysterious world of artists’ homes, from log cabins in the wilderness to the Bohemian salons of the cities. The exhibition features, among other artists, Akseli Gallen-Kallela, Elin Danielson, Albert Edelfelt, Pekka Halonen, Eero Järnefelt, Helene Schjerfbeck and Emil Wikström.
