The Archipelago During Prohibition & Life in the Archipelago Villas:

Midsummer Bonfire Cruise:

Adults 28 €
Children (7-16 years old) 15 €

Children under 7 years old go free-of-charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
The prices include VAT at 8 %.

Good to know

The theme cruises arrive and depart at the Otaranta quay in Otaniemi (the archipelago boat pier, Fonecta phonebook map 27/A-5). NOTE! The quay for the Midsummer bonfire cruise is Mellsteninranta in Haukilahti (Fonecta phonebook map 16/A-3). The cruise ship is the 80-seater m/s Aurora. Guidance during the cruises is given in Finnish and in English if required.

For all cruises, bookings should be made in advance to Espoo Convention & Marketing, tel.+358 9 8164 7230. The fee is paid in cash upon departure. The cruises depart only if a minimum of ten people have made a booking by noon on the day of departure.

Life in the Archipelago Villas

The theme of this trip is the colourful life in olden-day villas. In addition to revealing fascinating stories, the guide sheds light on the current state of affairs of the most famous villas. The trip includes a stop on the Iso Vasikkasaari island, which has services such as a restaurant and kiosk. Guidance in Finnish and in English if required. Arrives and departs at the Otaranta quay in Otaniemi. Note! On Mon 8 Aug arrival and departure in Haukilahti.

The Archipelago During Prohibition

The trip presents the Espoo archipelago during the time of prohibition, when motorboats ferried hard liquor in the dead of night. The guide tells intriguing tales about the times when alcohol could be easily and cheaply acquired in Espoo. The trip includes a stop on the Iso Vasikkasaari island, which has services such as a restaurant and kiosk. Guidance in Finnish and in English if required. Midsummer Bonfire Cruise

The traditional Midsummer bonfire cruise sets off on Midsummer’s Eve from the Haukilahti shore. The ship cruises through the Suvisaaristo archipelago and later heads out to the open sea at Seurasaarenselkä to provide a view of the magnificent Midsummer bonfire in Seurasaari. Coffee and refreshments are available during the cruise.
