26.04.2005      NEW MENUS AT 30-YEAR-OLD HANASAARI

Located on the Finnish Gulf in a unique archipelago milieu, the Hanasaari Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre is renowned for its fuctional 1970s architecture, modern meeting facilities and well-equipped hotel rooms - as well as the interesting cultural programmes it has offered for three decades.

To further enhance the experience, Hanasaari will be presenting its renewed dining offering on 12 April. At the same time, the Centre's restaurant will receive a new name: Restaurant Johannes, after the late statesman Johannes Virolainen, who was an active influence on the Cultural Centre's establishment in 1975.

The new buffet menus have been named after Finnish and Swedish cultural personalities. Some of their favourite dishes and dishes typical to their era will be found on the menu. The à la carte and dining menus have also been renewed. In the future, the Swedish-Finnish identity will be further emphasized with traditional foods offered in a new way.
